All or Nothing (Winner Takes All 3) by PJ AdamsCassandra Dane has issues with Denny McGowan. He’s lied to her, he’s set her up, he’s abandoned her when the chips are down. But worst of all, he’s stolen her heart.

It should just be a simple matter of trying to work out whether she can ever trust a man like Denny. But there’s still unfinished business to deal with involving Denny’s murderous ex-business partner, and Cassie’s father, freshly out of jail. Pretty soon matters of the heart become matters of life and death, as the gunmen close in and Cassie has some tough choices to make.

And foremost among these: just how many chances do you give a guy like Denny McGowan?

All or Nothing: the explosive climax to bestselling erotic romance author PJ Adams’ Winner Takes All three-part serial novel. (The first two volumes in this serial are Trading Down and Bad Company.)

Outside, Cassie paused on the wooden deck. Steps led down to the parking lot, but now she touched Denny on the arm to slow him down.

Deep breath. The air had such a bite to it! She’d forgotten how it got here in the winter.

“This isn’t going to be easy,” she said, and now she had his full attention. “I know we’re right in the heat of the moment here and we’re going to maybe pull over in some trees or maybe get all the way back to Saco Cabins and it’ll be all about hungry, desperate need, but that’s just now, you understand? That’s just something we’ve got to do. But then, after that… it’s not going to be easy, Denny. You lied to me. You left me. And I don’t know how I’m ever going to trust you even half as much as I need you. You understand that?”

He nodded.

“You’ve got to win me all over again, Denny McGowan. You think you can do that?”

He took a single step closer, reached up, put a hand to her cheek – that soft, delicate touch again!

His lips were firm, pressing, but he was holding back, bottling up that animal need that was bubbling away inside them both.

“I do,” he said. “I don’t want anything else.”

She climbed into the station wagon and Denny into the Lexus. They backed out of their spaces and he tucked in behind her on the highway, synchronized like geese flying in formation.

She felt good. She felt excited. And God but she felt hot!

She glanced in the rearview mirror and he was still there. She couldn’t see where his eyes were fixed, but she liked the thought that they were fixed on the back of her head while his mind was probably fixed on some other part of her body entirely.

She squeezed her thighs together, flexing the muscles, enjoying that tightening.

How had he managed to turn her on so much over coffee?

She glanced at the mirror again and the Lexus wasn’t there.

She slammed on the brakes and came to a halt in the roadside dirt. Twisting, she looked back along the highway and saw – some distance back – a blue sedan pulled over, the Lexus behind it.

Someone had forced him off the highway!

She hit reverse and accelerated, wheels spinning. A tug of the wheel and the station wagon slewed round one-eighty until she was facing back the way she’d come.

Two guys, at the Lexus driver’s door, reaching in, hauling Denny out.

Al and Luis. It must be Brady Lowe’s two henchmen.

Had they tapped Sally’s phone? Had they been watching Cassie, confident that she’d hook up with Denny again before long?

She hit the gas again, back on the highway.

As she came close, the two men looked up, and then they bundled Denny into the back of their car.

She hadn’t thought any further than this. She’d just acted on impulse, driven back to Denny’s rescue.

But now: the blue sedan loomed close, Luis pinning Denny down in the back while Al scurried round to the driver’s seat.

Hit it full-on and what would happen? Would Denny be okay? Would she?

She swerved at the last moment and the tail of the station wagon clipped the front wing with a sickening crunch of metal. She lost grip on the steering wheel and lurched forward, and in that instant realized she hadn’t strapped herself in. The station wagon skidded sideways and then there was a loud bang and she was knocked back in her seat as the airbag inflated.

The wind knocked out of her, she sat there, frozen and stunned. It was as if she’d forgotten how to drag air back into her lungs, as if they’d just stopped working. Her vision darkened and she thought she was going to pass out, then she gasped, sucked, and air filled her lungs.

She started to cough, the air filled with powder and a smoky smell from the airbag. She pushed the door open, pushed at the airbag so she could wriggle sideways and then she tumbled out into the dirt.

Her breath sore and ragged, she could breathe now, and she gasped and sobbed until her breathing started to calm itself.

Her mind had blanked. Everything gone apart from that desperate need for air.

Now it all came back.

On her hands and knees she peered back across the highway and the black Lexus convertible was sitting there, driver’s door half-open, engine running, empty.

There was no sign of the blue sedan. No sign of Denny, or Al and Luis.

Random Acts of Fantasy (Random Series #3, Invitation to Eden) by Julia Kent
You ever really think that you’ll win the lottery? Meet Mr. Right? How about two Mr. Rights? Somehow the universe is handing me everything I want (except for that lottery part…), and I don’t like it. Not one little bit. Because just when you get all your dreams handed to you on a silver platter, that’s when an airplane dumps its sewage on your house. Or your mama’s diabetes takes a bad turn. Or your mobile phone gets stuck in your hoohaw. (What? It happens…) Boring old average me got everything I wanted already, moving from small-town Ohio to big-city Boston to follow my heart. So when the fancy invitation offering me a pile of money to come with the band, Random Acts of Crazy, to perform on an island resort and be their manager arrived, I thought it was a cosmic joke. Enough money to help my mama get what she needed, five days in sunny paradise, and a shot at greatness for the band? Unreal. One big shoe was waiting to drop. On my head. Just like no one really ever finds a naked man wearing only a guitar standing by the side of the road hitchhiking and ends up falling in love with him and his friend and moving halfway across the country for true love, no one gets an invitation to

The Swingers“So tell me, what’s your desire? What’s your fantasy?”

Christina Winters has it all: she has a successful career; Adam is the sweetest, most caring husband, who also just happened to be exceedingly wealthy; she has traveled the world, eats in the finest restaurants, and has wonderful friends. She really shouldn’t want for anything.

But Christina wants to explore. She wants to try things she’s never tried before. When Adam finds this out he encourages her. His only condition is that she must tell him everything…

The Swingers’ Club turns out to be exactly what she needs: the perfect place for multiple encounters with men and women, including the blackout room where everything is anonymous and all other senses are heightened by the complete darkness.

An explicit erotic story featuring hot wife cuckoldry, bondage, anonymous encounters, double-teaming, and bisexuality (FF, MFM, MF and group).

The room is beautiful, every element carefully selected to recreate a certain historical elegance. The walls are paneled in dark wood, the furniture  is opulently upholstered – the Queen Anne seat at the dresser, the Rococo chaise longue by the window, the Ottoman covered in plush blood-red velvet at the foot of the bed.

The bed… an Elizabethan four poster, the frame made from thick, dark wood, intricately fluted and carved with arabesques. The tied-back canopy is of a light Egyptian cotton, with a tasseled red velvet pelmet. A heavy iron loop – the sort to which you might tie a boat or a horse – is bolted to each post.

From each loop a short chain runs, terminating in a smaller loop.

The chains are stretched taut.

Silk scarves are tied to each of these smaller loops, and also tied to the ankles and wrists of the naked man.

He lies there on his back, limbs spread like a starfish. His body is slender, wiry even. His belly is flat, covered with a sparse layer of body hair which spreads up to his chest and across his pecs. His dick lies limp, shriveled like a dried fruit, and nestling in a thickening of that hair. His features are well defined: a square jaw, an aquiline nose; sharp blue eyes. His hair is black, turning to silver at the temples.

“Tell me,” he says now. “Tell me all about it. I need to know.”

Sun slants in through the leaded windows. It’s a beautiful day.

She sits on the chaise, one leg tucked up beneath her, the sunlight glancing off her slender body. She has full breasts, strong shoulders, honey blonde hair and vividly green eyes. She is easily twenty years his junior.

“You really want to know?”

He nods. The expertly-tied silk scarves hold him secure, but there is an extra tension in his body now.

“You want to know where I went, and who I was with?”

He nods again.

She stands, and walks slowly across the room, enjoying the way his eyes explore her nakedness. She takes her time, gives her walk that extra wiggle he likes. Finally, she comes to stand beside the bed, legs slightly apart so that now when his eyes roam down her body to that narrow strip of hair, and down, he can see the slit of her sex, the parting of her labia.

“I’m still wet from them,” she says. “Are you sure you want to know?”

As she speaks, that dried fruit begins to fill. What had been a small, withered shaft is now filling out, loose skin becoming tight. As his dick grows longer, pushing down across his ball sac, the foreskin eases back to reveal the glans, deep pink becoming purple.

Longer, it flops sideways now in a succession of animal twitches.

“Isn’t it enough just to know that I had a good time, without knowing the details?” she asks, coming to kneel on the bed beside him, and watching closely as he continues to grow. “Do you need to know how many dicks filled me? What it felt like to be fucked in every hole?”

“Tell me.”

With another twitch, his dick springs up so that it lies sideways across his hip.

She reaches down and runs a red fingernail across his belly, and he arches his back in response.

Another twitch and his dick stands upright against his belly.

“I love your cock,” she tells him. “I love its size and its proportions. I love the smoothness of the skin and the way it feels.”

The flat of her hand, pressing down on the hardness of his shaft.

“I love the way it responds.”

She wraps her fingers around him, and pulls, so that the skin slides smoothly against the hard inner core. Drawing him upright, a clear bead of pre-come slips out.

“But you need more than just me, don’t you?” he says. “Tell me. Tell me about all those dicks.”

Bad Company (Winner Takes All 2) by PJ AdamsOn the run with a tuxedoed guy with Trouble written all over his gorgeous face, Cassie Dane must ask herself: is this the real thing, or it is just another stopping point in a long run of bad luck and worse choices?

Only the night before, Denny McGowan had burst into her life, a handsome stranger in a tux, dripping wet from the rain and with nothing more to his name than the roll of hundred dollar bills in his back pocket. Since then, Cassie has been held at gunpoint and fled in a stolen car and now, to complicate matters further, she might just be falling in love.

But how can she trust a complete stranger like Denny, and what is he really after? And with two thwarted gunmen on their tail, will they be able to get away for long enough to make plans?

Bad Company: the much-anticipated sequel to Trading Down, and the second part of Winner Takes All, the steamy new bad boy trilogy from the author of bestselling romantic thriller The Object of His Desire.

Riding the highway north in a stolen Lexus convertible being driven by a guy in a tux with Trouble written all over his gorgeous face, Cassie finally had time to catch her breath and think.

Last night, when they were still at the point where they hadn’t gone much beyond flirting and idle chat, she’d told Denny McGowan her life story in a single sentence. She told him she’d ended up as a waitress in a bar in the ass-end of Nowhere, Maine, because of a string of bad luck and worse choices. Give or take a few complications, that wasn’t really so far from the truth.

Now, she studied Denny’s features as he drove and wondered if, perhaps, she’d suddenly taken that bad luck and worse choices thing to a whole new level.

Lifting his right hand from the wheel and stretching his arm over so it draped across Cassie’s shoulders, Denny said now, “So what’re you thinking?”

She narrowed her eyes, considering her answer. Back at Pappy’s Lobster Bar this morning, it had seemed so right to jump in the car with him and head off in a direction selected by the toss of a quarter, but now… “You sure you want to know?”

He glanced across at her. He really shouldn’t be surprised at the edge in her voice. Surely he was smart enough to know that?

“I’m just beginning to wonder if I do,” he said. He tried that smile on her, as if he could make anything into a joke – the smile that cracked his face and put a sparkle in his eye.

She let him try it. She was never going to argue that Denny McGowan wasn’t easy on the eye, after all.

Then, when the smile finally faltered and he returned both hands to the wheel, she said, “Last night. This morning. Whatever… Were you really just going to walk out like that? A one-night stand with a cheap little waitress and then you just sneak away again as soon as you get the chance?” She smiled. “That’s what’s on my mind. You at all sorry you asked yet?”

Eyes back on the road, stretching out long and straight ahead, he stayed silent for a time. Cassie couldn’t work out if he was thinking or if she really did mean so little to him after all. It wasn’t a cheering thought, particularly when she’d thrown her life away to be here with Denny McGowan right now.

The sunlight had that flat Maine quality about it, washing color from the landscape as if it was finishing the job of last night’s storm in tearing the Fall colors from the trees. Somewhere off to the right the silvered surface of the Penobscot River appeared every so often through the trees.

Why did she feel so flat, all of a sudden? Last night with Denny… it had been maybe the best thing to happen to her in the last two years. Certainly the most breathtaking and exciting. So much had happened since then, though, not least the two gangsters who’d held Cassie at gunpoint at Pappy’s earlier this morning…

Was it delayed shock she was feeling? A sudden deflation from that rush of action and danger?

“Yeah, that’s about it,” Denny said, and for a moment Cassie forgot that she’d asked a question. “Yes, I did just walk out like that. Last night – we talked lots, but we never did cover the ground of just how much of a selfish shit I can be.”

She bristled at the glibness of his answer. That was the danger of a charm like Denny’s: a slight misjudgment and that kind of easy charm can so easily tip over into dismissiveness, as if everything could be deflected with a casual joke.

“So that’s it? I was just some kind of disposable pleasure? Single use only.”

“Maybe you were, at first,” he said carefully. “It was a wild night and I had nothing apart from the clothes I stood up in. I was on the run from bad debts and two guys with restless trigger fingers. I was a real catch, right?”

That smile, that sudden flash of promise in his eyes. He used it without thinking. Must have done so all his life, using it to charm the kindergarten teachers long before he’d ever used it to charm the girls. It really could trigger an instant response, and Cassie caught herself flashing back to the night before, to the sight of him stripped to the waist in the back-room at Pappy’s as he toweled himself down.

“So I see the lights through the storm, I get closer and can see that it’s a bar. Shelter from the storm and a good stiff drink? I was sold already. And then I open the door and I see you.”

“And you think ‘Easy one-night stand’?” She smiled and from the look on his face her quick joke was like twisting a knife in his gut. Had she misjudged him? Suddenly she was aware that he seemed to be dragging the words out of somewhere deep.

He looked down, then back up to the road ahead. “Maybe,” he said. “At first. This is the point where we get to cover that ground about what a shallow shit I can be. But can you blame me for thinking like that? It could be my last night, so I might as well spend it in Heaven.”

“Oh you’re good,” said Cassie. “And I like it. Go on.” She pushed back into her seat. It was years since she’d been in a car like this. Even longer since she’d spent time with a guy who could drag her up out of the slough of self-doubt and tell her things like spending time with her was like time in Heaven. Cheesy as that was, she could easily take some more of that, right now.

“Just for a few hours… for a night… it really was as if none of the rest of it existed, you know?” The Irish in his accent was coming through more strongly now. Was that a sign of sincerity, of the real him breaking through? Or was it all just a part of that easy charm? “I was bewitched. Beguiled. It was so easy to lose myself in you and, really, why would I not?”

She twisted in her seat so that she was facing him, watching that square jaw work as he spoke. Last night’s stubble was noticeably thicker now, and when he spoke his whole face came alive: he didn’t just speak with his mouth, he spoke with his eyes, the rise and fall of his brow, the tug and shift of the muscles in his neck, his shoulders, hands that wanted to gesture but mostly managed to stay on the wheel. Had she ever known someone as expressive as this?

“And then you came to your senses and walked out? Is that how it went?” She was teasing, but it was a tease with a barb as she dug deeper for the truth. “If it was that good, why did you walk out on me, Denny McGowan?”

A shift of his head and those steel-gray eyes fixed on her before flitting away again. “It was because it was that good.” He paused, then added, “I was scared.”

“Of what?”

“Of dragging you into all this. Of you ending up on the road with me in a car we’ve taken from two guys after my head. Of all that and…”

“And scared of how you made me feel from the first moment I set eyes on you.” The car was slowing now, pulling over onto the rough strip at the side of the highway, coming to a halt… and he turned his body so that he faced her now. “Scared of how that feeling just got stronger and stronger the more time I spent with you. I’d never known anything like it, and I don’t think I’m ever likely to again. It was intoxicating. It was as if I was possessed. You’re a danger to mankind, Cassandra Dane. You should be licensed, cordoned off, prohibited. Yes, I walked out, Cassie. I tried to walk away. But I couldn’t. I came back. I came back for you.”

“So is this your way of telling me this thing has become something more than just a one-night stand with a cheap waitress from a bar in the ass-end of Nowhere, Maine?”

So how do you like it? How to write and publish a serial.

Posted 18 April 2014 By Polly J Adams

The Object of His Desire by PJ AdamsSo how do you like it?

Do you like to work slowly, dipping in and then pulling back; taking breaks and then picking up where you left off until you hit the big climax?

Or is it more a case of wham bam, thank you ma’am?

I’m talking about writing serial fiction, of course, and recently I’ve reached the conclusion that there’s room for both approaches.

In the past, I’ve published as I’ve gone along. With The Object of His Desire, for example, the first installment was available before I’d even written the first sentence of part two. I tried to keep to a monthly schedule, but even then I was getting reviews and other feedback from readers impatient to keep reading.

This can be a huge incentive to keep going, but it does pile the pressure on, particularly if you start to slip behind schedule. And if there isn’t that kind of reaction? Even more pressure!

Working Girl by Polly J AdamsMy Working Girl series was a real slow burner, with very few sales at first. If I’d been publishing as I wrote, that quiet reception would have been very discouraging, and it would have appeared quite sensible to cut my losses and abandon the series unfinished. Luckily, though, I’d written drafts of three of the four parts before the first one appeared, and when you’re that close to the end you just have to finish, don’t you? Sales for Working Girl built slowly, and I’m really glad I stuck with it. Not only is there the satisfaction of having had the opportunity to tell the complete story, now it’s become a steady seller. I hate to think that it could so easily have been abandoned unfinished if I’d been working in a different way.

To any onlookers I’ve been a bit quiet recently on the publishing front, and this is because I’ve moved away from the write-and-publish-immediately strategy for serials. While that approach works for a lot of people, it’s too high-risk a strategy for me: I want to be able to just tell the story, without anything else intruding. Right now, I’m working on two serials, and for both I’ve chosen to wait until they’re complete before publishing.

So this week Trading Down, part one of the three-part bad boy erom thriller Winner Takes All, came out. Part two, Bad Company, will be out next week, and All or Nothing will conclude the series a few days after that. All three parts are written and waiting to go, which is a good feeling for me – and, I hope, for my readers!

Since completing that series, I’ve moved on to Back Stage Pass, a three-part rock star romance. So far I’ve written the first draft of the opening part, Let’s Make This Thing Happen, and lots of notes for the rest of the series, and I’m loving it.

I like working like this: it lets me get my head down and just keep on going until I reach the end. I think that energy comes through in the storytelling, and readers benefit by not having to wait too long for each part.

Is it a wham bam, thank you ma’am approach? Well maybe, but sometimes you just have to go hard and fast until you reach the end, don’t you think?

Trading Down: the steamy new bad boy romance from the author of bestselling romantic thriller The Object of His Desire.

It was just a normal night until the stranger in the tux turned up at Pappy’s Lobster Bar.

Old Bub was in his corner, in his checkered shirt and suspenders that hitched his pants almost up into his armpits, and that woolen cap on the crown of his head like a kippah. He’d been cradling that Bud for at least an hour, just like any other night. Finn was by the jukebox, feeding it enough coins for a steady stream of Billy Joel.

Cassie stood behind the bar, her elbows leaning on its scuffed surface. She could recite the words from anything from 52nd Street thanks to Finn and his musical OCD.

Cassie was slim and honey blonde, a silver stud in her nose, half a dozen rings and studs lined up around each ear lobe, and an oriental script tattoo on one exposed shoulder. She’d worked at Pappy’s for two seasons now, and by anybody’s reckoning that was probably a season too long for anyone who had an alternative.

Over by the window a young couple in disposable plastic bibs wrestled with plates loaded with lobster. On a good day you could see across to Holbrook Island from where they sat but on a teeming night like tonight there was just a splattering of golfball-sized raindrops on the glass and the flickering lights of the trailer park, heading down to the bay.

That rain was something. It was good Fall Maine kind of rain: giant drops hurled horizontal by the wind coming in off the bay. That was the kind of wind that made the glass rattle in the window-frames like either wood or glass would give way at any moment, the kind of wind that made trees grow leaning over flat as if they wanted to hug the ground.

A week more and Pappy’s would be closed down for the winter. Not that the locals didn’t have a call for beer and good food in the winter months, but this was the kind of place where sensible folk put things by for winter rather than heading out. True, it was the kind of place where Finn and Old Bub would wrap up warm and trek through snow and ice to get here for the jukebox and beer, if the owner Lou was fool enough to stay open, but the delivery guys, well they were made of something far softer these days.

So the place closed down for winter, and Lou and his family headed south to their Daytona Beach trailer home. That left the likes of Cassie to do whatever they could to get through a few fallow months.

But closing down for a Maine winter was still a week away, and right now it was just the two grizzled regulars and a young couple who for some reason had thought late Fall in Maine was a good idea.

It was not the kind of a night, or the kind of a place, where you would expect to find Denny McGowan.

“Hey, Bub. You going to drink that beer or shall I wrap it so you can take it home?” Same old line, same old grunt of a response. Old Bub would be there till ten, down the rest of his Bud in a single swallow, and then head out into the night.

Cassie glanced across towards the window table. The young couple didn’t need anything yet. Back to her nails, hooker red and chipped. That kind of summed up how she felt right then. Cheap and worn. She liked it here at Pappy’s, but was she really going to be back in March to open up again? Was this her life now that she’d lasted more than a solitary season?

She took a cloth and gave the bar a spray and a wipe, even though it already had enough shine that she could do her face in it.

All this cleaning, it was wrecking her hands. The skin was dry. It made her feel old when she wasn’t even 25 until January. She hated this time of year, hated this sinking feeling, the Fall blues. She needed change. She needed something new.

She needed this not to be it.

Just then, with perfect timing, the door burst open, slamming against the wall as the gale took it. Standing there, framed in the doorway, was the guy Cassie would come to know as Denny McGowan.

In that tailored tux he looked like he should be someplace else entirely, but yet… it looked like he had walked here. On a night like this! His patent leather shoes were scuffed and dirty, there was mud around the cuffs of his pants; his shirt was untucked, his undone bow tie hanging loose. His jacket hung heavy with the rain, and his black hair was plastered to his skull. Maybe there had been an accident, or his car had broken down back on the highway.

Then, with a cheeky grin that cracked his face and put a sparkle in his eyes, he reached into his pocket, produced a fat roll of hundred dollar bills, and casually thumbed one free of the sodden mass of paper.

“So tell me, what does a guy have to do to get a drink around here?” he asked in an accent somewhere between Boston and genuine Irish, and then he stepped inside, pulling the door shut behind him and shutting the wild storm out.

Whips and Chains by Saloni QunibyWhips and Chains is the first in the Weapons of Redemption Series. Tell us more about it.
Weapons of Redemption focuses on five men who were abducted and changed by a vampire pirate. Now they use their powers to help other victims. Each man has found his own way to cope with the pain and guilt of his past. The last book in the series focuses on the villain, giving his side of the story and opening up the possibility of redemption for him.

How did you come up with the title?
The five vampire rebels used the skills they perfected under the control of their cruel master and now use them to protect others, so they have actually become weapons of redemption.

When will we see the rest of the series?
The entire series is currently available at Changeling Press.

Your publisher describes this as paranormal BDSM erotic romance. What is it about the paranormal that makes that erotic heat so much hotter?
I’m not sure that paranormal necessarily makes erotica hotter, but as far as plotline goes, it’s fun to explore a world in which supernatural creatures exist. I especially love the vampire myth. To me they’re at the top of the list of sexiest paranormal creatures. I love their power and depending on the type of vampire, there’s the possibility of a long life so the characters can have lots of adventures through different time periods.

Do you write in other genres too?
Yes, I also write historical romance as well as some contemporary and suspense.

What is it about a story that takes you past that tipping point – from when an idea is merely interesting to when it becomes something that simply has to be written?
When the main characters nag me so much that I have to write their story.

Do the people around you know what you write? How have they reacted, or how would they react?
My family and closest friends know what I write and they’re very supportive. I’ve always written so it wasn’t a big surprise for them. Anyone who really knows me wouldn’t be surprised by what I write, so it was never a big issue.

What’s the best part of being a writer?
To me the best part of being a writer is creating characters and worlds I love and hoping others enjoy them too.

What’s the most challenging part of being a writer?
Deciding which idea to work on next. Sometimes I feel like the characters are fighting a battle in my head for whose story is next to be told.

What is your writing process?
I like to work with a loose outline so I know where the story is going, however I need to leave some wiggle room for the inevitable changes that happen while the story is being written.

Where do you write?
I do most of my writing at home at my desk. I always keep a notebook with me, though. When a scene pops into my head, I like make note of it or if possible write it then and there.

What’s your ‘guilty pleasure’?
Horror movies! Truly I’m not all that guilty about it, but I’ll watch just about any type of horror movie. I especially love grade B horror/action movies.

And finally, back to Weapons of Redemption 1: Whips and Chains: if you were on an elevator with someone and had a few seconds to convince them to read your book, what would you tell them?
If you like hot gay romance and vampire heroes, try Weapons of Redemption.

Whips and Chains by Saloni QunibyWeapons of Redemption 1: Whips and Chains

by Saloni Quinby

Five men, enslaved by a vampire pirate and forced to do his bidding, rebelled against their master and earned the wrath of a monster. Now, while plotting to destroy the man who, centuries later, still thinks he owns them, they use their powers to protect other victims.

In a seedy underworld of sex and violence, a serial killer is stalking men and Guy is called upon to find the murderer. Ryan, a professional Dom known as the Beast Tamer, specializes in meting out pleasure and pain to oversized men. While undercover, Guy and the sexy young man with a mysterious past become lovers, but is Ryan the next victim or is he the killer?

The following excerpt from WHIPS AND CHAINS is for readers 18 and over.

Usually Guy had complete control over his body, but Ryan did something to him. Throughout the meal, when Ryan looked at him a certain way or made simple gestures, such as moistening his lips or handling his silverware, Guy’s cock stiffened and he tingled everywhere. A few times he had to restrain himself from reaching across the table, kissing Ryan and fucking him then and there.

He wondered what it would be like for them. Would they end up fighting each other for dominance? Probably. Although Guy wanted to draw information from Ryan, he didn’t relish the thought of breaking his spirit. A man like this probably wouldn’t take well to being forced into submission, or even lured into it, but Ryan had no chance of winning a battle of wills against a vampire.

Yet Ryan’s pleasure or Guy’s wasn’t the issue here. People were being murdered and Guy needed to do everything in his power to stop it.

After dinner, Guy and Ryan split the bill and headed back to the dungeon.

“This was an interesting evening,” Ryan said when they stopped outside his door.

“We should do it again.”

Ryan’s huge blue eyes stared into Guy’s, drawing him in. He and Ryan simultaneously grasped each other’s faces. Their mouths met in a hungry kiss. Guy groaned. The pressure of their kiss opened the cut on Ryan’s lower lip. Guy licked and sucked it, relishing the taste of his delicious blood.
